Teletherapy Guide for Rhode Island

General Information -
All Licensures

Practitioners holding an active Rhode Island license may provide teletherapy services to Rhode Island residents.

Psychology Information

Teletherapy included with a state license. Must abide by all in-person care standards. Under Telemedicine Coverage Act clinical services must be provided by a licensed practitioner of the state with real time, two-way audio visual communication including secured store and forward technology. Audio only, facsimile, email or computer automated technology is prohibited.
